Well that was probably harder work than it needed to be !
One day I am sure I’ll get the hang of this blogging thing but for now it just seems so ‘meh’
But I have learnt the following :-
1 – Make a note of things at the time as going back through your timeline is painful
2 – I have no idea how this wordpress thing works
3 – My WP to Twitter plugin doesn’t seem to be working
4 – Don’t try to watch FreshMeat whilst simultaneously trying to be a humorous bloggerer
5 – I don’t know the real term for bloggerer ! Bloggist perhaps ?
6 – I may use too many exclamation marks in my posts !
Now I leave you to continue my research for my forthcoming novel, working title “Things to do in Glossop when you’re Ted”

So we, the great and the good, have been banning banter and its annoying cousins since 16th October 2011 , it’s true, check twitter #banbanter if you don’t believe us.
But we were losing track of what has been banned and who requested the banning order. So we thought “hey why not record it somewhere” and then we don’t have to go back through timelines to try and remember. And so to the point. From this point on banter banning orders will be recorded here within oh say 24 hours or so of being banned. If it’s not here then it’s not banned and you can keep on using it. If it is banned then woe betide you………
All banning orders are listed in the following format … the term, the banner, the date

In a effort to put a bit more effort in we are trialling posting via blackberry this morning.
So crapstuff* has just moved to a new server and we guess we need to check everything is working…. so here goes
I have been labouring under the misapprehension that I needed to make my blog posts either interesting, funny, topical, political, satirical or perhaps a homogeneous blend of all of these. But it turns out all I need to do is spout endlessly about anything be it this, that or even the other and someone somewhere will offer me cheap Viagra as a result..
Now I know that there will be no stopping me….. enjoy the ride
Just a quick one today as whilst I remain a slave to the man* I have to go to a Team Meeting starting soon.
We have a morning update session , followed by lunch, then a team building off-site activity this afternoon. All sounds fun doesn’t it !
Er actually no…. what’s wrong with just doing your work and then going home ? I don’t work because I enjoy it, I do it to pay the bills. Simple as that.
Sorry to sound like a curmudgeon but that’s the way it is..(don’t get me started on annual performance reviews and ongoing objective setting or we could be here all week)
The upside if there is any is I only have another 24 or so years until I can retire. Maybe today will spur me on to make a change and get away from the corporate hell….
But all that will have to wait as the hordes are gathering ….
